Scanning and Windows 7 — A Hassle Indeed!
We had a customer who bought a Xerox Phaser 8560MFP and there was an odd issue we ran into during the installation. When we downloaded the Win 7 driver pack, we had issues. It seemed no matter what we did, scanning just would not work. It is frustrating when you buy a $2,000 copier and find that you can not seem to get the copier to work.
Ultimately, we uninstalled the driver utility and ended up installing the scan driver and then the print driver and everything started working better.
