Make sure that any copier that can be used as a scanner has a card reader. Although many copiers can be accessed from the internet, this doesn’t mean your business needs to use that function. What to think about

Everything that is put on a copier will be saved on a hard drive or a solid-state drive. This includes files that aren’t meant for copies, but are just meant to be scanned. Sensitive information should be handled with care. If possible, make sure any images are deleted from the machine.
